'Home' is a return to basics.

In this new album, recorded in Normandy, where he lives, breathes, and finds himself, guitarist Emmanuel Rossfelder retraces his career and reveals his influences. Each of the 20 tracks on this recording is a piece from the musician's exceptionally varied universe, giving free rein to his virtuosity through transcriptions of his own. From the first musical notes he heard, with Chopin or Schumann, to the precious teachings of his master Lagoya, with the discovery of Sor or Ponce, to the lullabies that have become part of his repertoire... Each of these pieces evokes a moment in life, a memory, to inhabit the world in music. Two creations, 'Nitsuga', by composer Christophe Julien, and 'After the Fall' by José Pavli, punctuate this sunny and intimate journey.
